Permission to pause: 'cause I don't need any permission to dance XD
Hey Internet Fam
So… I’ve decided to hit pause on social media until NEET next year. Yep, this is not a drill — I’m officially logging out to level up.
Don't get me wrong, I'll miss the memes, the internet folks and observing strangers go from zero to cottagecore in a weekend. But I realized something: while I've been double-tapping my way through life, time's been flying by like a K-pop dance break. And honestly? It's time I gave me the same energy that I've been giving reels and random month-end dump posts.
The Plan? Unwind & Rebuild. Like a Phoenix. Or a BTS Comeback.(THE BOYZZ ARE REUNITING, OH LORD !!!)
This isn't merely about ghosting apps — it's about being present for myself. Connecting with the world. Ditching distractions so I can grow with purpose. It's a reboot, through and through.
Here's what I'm carving out space for:
Music Therapy: Relistening to BTS albums until I feel all the feels and drift back as a better human.
Nature Walks: Touching grass. Literally. Watching clouds. Stargazing. Waking up with the sunrise. Remembering that life is bigger than a screen.
Study Mode: Giving NEET the focus it truly deserves. Flashcards will be my new feed, and I’m kinda excited about it.
Workout Gains: Because a strong body = a strong mind. (Endorphins are free T_T)
Learning Something New: Maybe Korean. Maybe German. Maybe a language of the mind, like meditation. Whatever it is, it’ll be something that adds to me.
But This Isn’t Just About Me.
If you’ve been feeling a little burnt out, scattered, or like you’re living life in 15-second bursts — maybe take this as your sign too.
You don’t need to disappear forever. But stepping back? It can be powerful. Refreshing. Freeing.
Unplugging isn't about leaving the world behind — it's about getting back to your world. The one that your dreams inhabit. The one where you grow in quiet, where self-love doesn't require editing, and where you're the star of the show — no audience required.
When Will I Be Back?
NEET is the boss level that I'm preparing for, and when I come back, I'll be smarter, more chill, tougher — and perhaps even proficient in something awesome like Korean or "inner peace."
So if you do miss me, just gaze at the moon, dance a bit to "Dynamite," and know that I'm out there constructing the greatest version of myself.
See you on the flip side — with new objectives, new muscles, and likely a new playlist.
Look after yourselves. Log off if you must. The real world is missing you too.
With love
(and maybe some sore legs? HA ha)
